Well, for starters, when we become your tenant we may decide to take on a few improvements at our own cost (with your permission of course). Previously, we have been known to re-tile sections of bathroom, re-carpet rooms, update flooring in the kitchen, paint bedrooms and even update the kitchen cupboards/cookers. These are all things that will remain with you and your house long after our contract with you has finished – although you may love us so much that you ask us to stay!
We also manage the tenants occupying the property, so that you don’t have to. We do this at NO COST TO YOU. Free management!
And because we are your tenants, not the people occupying the house, if one of them leaves or the whole group leaves then we take on that void of rent – not you. So the rent we agree with you is guaranteed for the entire duration of the contract with you. Not bad eh?!
RMP only work with corporate and professional workers – everyone is thoroughly referenced before going into the house and we have even been known to turn people away who would pass referencing if we don’t think that they will fit into the house or mix well with the tenants already in there. This is important as most problems stem from unhappy tenants – if they don’t get on with who they live with then nobody’s happy….especially not us.
Occasionally we have worked with students but they’re usually mature students – doctors/nurses/engineers that have a long degree and are in the latter stages of it.
And secondly, even if our strict tenanting process were not to work, we are contractually obliged to make good any damage or mis-use from any of the tenants we put in. Luckily, this has never happened and all of our tenants in the many many properties we have, have never been anything but great to work with. But if it were to happen, our maintenance team is on hand and rest assured, your house will be put right before you take it back – that’s our promise!
